UPDATED - This is a PDF pattern for a practical yet stylish crossbody bag for everyday use. The TEYA is large enough to hold all your essentials neatly organized and easy to reach, yet still compact and lightweight. It’s just what you need for a short trip to the town, meeting a friend at your fav cafe, or quick errands in the neighborhood.

Supplies Required
  • fabric: approx. ½ yard outer + ½ yard accent + 1 fat quarter lining
  • fusible interfacing/fusible fleece (apprx. 1 ¼ yd from a 20" wide bolt, or 115cm x 50cm)
  • 3 nylon coil zippers: one 11" zipper for top (28 cm or longer), two 8" zippers for front and back (20cm or longer)
  • bag hardware: 2 rectangular rings + 1 strap slider adjuster (width 1 1/4" or 32 mm)
  • Alternative to fabric strap: approx. 60" (150cm) of thick cotton webbing, width 1 1/4" (32 mm), if you don't want to make a matching bag strap out of fabric
  • NOTE: an additional 52” x 2 1/2” (132 x 6.3 cm) of thin stiff interfacing is needed for the strap if quilting weight cotton is used.
